Celebrating Halloween, Black Cats and going back to school

Seeing as I love to write a spooky story, Halloween seems a perfect time to celebrate that I have been back doing in-person school events. It has been so wonderful to chat with children about books and reading again!

It was delightful to be invited to officially open the library at Didcot's Aureus School.

And to visit Abingdon's Larkmead, where I have managed to visit every time a new book has come out - except for last year, so it felt like a win to be back there again.

Thank you to all the brilliant students who came up with great magical detection suggestions and asked loads of great questions.

And also a big thank you to all the lovely reviews that keep coming in for The Howling Hag Mystery and people are kind enough to send me pictures when they spy it in bookshops - keep them coming, I love them!

And a BIG thank you Ollie for this stunning illustrated review.
